Hi, I’m Megan, the heart behind Little Explorers of Stonehaven! I have always had a deep love for early childhood education and a passion for creating nurturing, engaging learning environments for young children. As a mother of three with over a decade of experience in nursing, I bring a strong foundation in child development, safety, and care into my program.

I also have experience serving as the children’s director at my local church, where I had the privilege of working closely with children and fostering an environment of creativity and growth. This role deepened my commitment to shaping young minds and cultivating a sense of wonder and learning in early childhood.

My husband, Dan, is the owner of Modal Music Studio in Warrenton, VA, and together, we are passionate about serving our local community. We noticed a lack of quality, affordable childcare in the area, which inspired me to create Little Explorers of Stonehaven. It’s a place where children can learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.

At Little Explorers, I emphasize play-based learning, creativity, and social-emotional development while maintaining low child-to-provider ratios to ensure personalized attention. My goal is to provide a space where children feel encouraged to explore, create, and develop a lifelong love for learning.
